Quebec, North America's only French-speaking stronghold, captivates with its preserved European architecture and spectacular landscapes between the St. Lawrence River and maple forests. I always wake before sunrise to photograph Old Quebec: the cobbled streets and the silhouette of the Château Frontenac bathed in the golden morning light offer an atmosphere that disappears once tourist crowds arrive by midday.

This habit also lets me observe the daily life of Quebecers, between cafés opening their doors and locals enjoying the calm before the bustle, for a more authentic immersion into this distinctive French-Canadian culture. My photographic work seeks to highlight this unique cultural heritage, blending French legacy and North American identity, away from the conventional images of the Canadian province.
