Marrakech - Morocco

Marrakech, an imperial city of a thousand colors, is a photographic landscape of incomparable sensory richness, between a centuries-old medina, ornate palaces and hidden gardens. I wake before the morning call to prayer to photograph Jemaa el-Fna square and the medina's alleyways in rare stillness, as souk stalls just begin to stir and the soft early light caresses the old town's ochre facades.
This approach lets me capture the authenticity of Moroccan daily life — craftsmen at work in their leather and copper workshops, herbalists arranging their pyramids of spices — before the tourist crowds settle in and turn these scenes into spectacle. My photographic report aims to highlight Marrakech's rich culture and craftsmanship, its unique Hispano-Moorish architecture and the warmth of its people, beyond surface-level folklore.
As a responsible tourism photographer, I strive to represent Morocco with respect and sincerity, through a deep cultural immersion. Discover my photographs from the ochre city below.
