Guadeloupe - French Caribbean

Guadeloupe, a French archipelago in the Caribbean, offers striking diversity between white sand beaches, lush tropical forest and the iconic Soufrière volcano. To photograph this destination at its finest, I always wake before sunrise: deserted beaches bathed in rose-tinted light stand in sharp contrast to the tourist activity that builds by midday.

This early discipline also lets me immerse myself in authentic Guadeloupean daily life, alongside fishermen returning to port or Creole markets coming to life in the first hours. My photographic work seeks to showcase the island's rich Creole culture, its craftsmanship, cuisine and history, well beyond the postcard images of paradise beaches.

As a responsible tourism photographer, I take particular care to represent Guadeloupe with respect and authenticity, mindful of its people and fragile environment. Explore my photographic report on the archipelago below.
